Subject: bug#24407: 24.5; doc of `format'
Date: Sat, 10 Sep 2016 15:20:25 -0700 (PDT) [thread overview]
Message-ID: <040652ef-95dd-4a06-8233-85353227b48b@default> (raw)
The Elisp manual doc for `format' (node Formatting Strings) looks OK.
But the doc string has this bug:
where flags is [+ #-0]+, width is [0-9]+, and precision is .[0-9]+
must be a literal `.' here ^
The precision part should be this (or equivalent): "[.][0-9]+", not
".[0-9]+".
In GNU Emacs 24.5.1 (i686-pc-mingw32)
of 2015-04-11 on LEG570
Windowing system distributor `Microsoft Corp.', version 6.1.7601
Configured using:
`configure --prefix=/c/usr --host=i686-pc-mingw32'
