When I receive an unencrypted email on my inbox and view it through
Rmail, I get the option to save the file.

     [1:text/plain Show]

     [2:image/jpeg Show Save:My_attachment.jpg (400kB)]

However, when I receive an encrypted message, and decrypt it with `M-x
rmail-epa-decrypt`, I get to see the plaintext of all the email, with
the multipart/mixed Content-Type, the email's body and then another part
with the attachment as base64, without an option to save it to my disk.

    The body of the message

    Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="My_attachment.jpg"; name="My_attachment.format"

Apparently, when decrypting the email, Rmail doesn't parse its contents
to highlight it or show the attachments as on the first scenario.

Could you please add more details to your report?

First, which version of Emacs is that?  If it isn't Emacs 28 from the
master branch of the Emacs Git repository, could you please try the
latest master and see if the problem persists?

And second, rmail-epa-decrypt should ask whether to replace the
original message -- did it ask, and if it did, what was your answer to
that question?

It's GNU Emacs 27.2-1 from the Artix Linux repository, I could try
installing Emacs 28 from source on another computer and try there

It asks if I want to replace the original message, I usually say no. I
tried saying yes to get it saved, restart emacs and load the inbox with
the decrypted message, and it still isn't detected.

Yes, please do.  There were some changes in that code in the recent
months, and I wonder whether anything's changed as result.  In any
case, if we need fixes, they will start from what's now in Git, so it
would be good for you to have that available.

I built emacs from source at commit `b0fe06e` and it worked the same: no
option to save the attachment, only see it inline as base64. Emacs
latest (master) on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS via tty.

Also, Gnus doens't have this problem decrypting attachments, it just
allows to save them after decrypting with GPG.
