If you insert a text button in a buffer
(insert-text-button 'test
'action (lambda (button)
(interactive)
(message "You clicked %s" button)))
then nothing happens if you click with mouse-1 on the button. At least
not on w32.
Wasn't there a decision that this should work on w32 where you normally
click links with mouse-1?

(put 'default-button 'follow-link t)
(setq mouse-1-click-follows-link t)

Yes, but this does not cure the bug. It is the default case that should
work.

More importantly, we shouldn't be changing a user's preference (option value)
like that. I have customized `mouse-1-click-follows-link' to nil; I don't want
this changed unless I change it myself.
